DSLR Photography Class

Make the most out of your digital single lens reflex camera! This class will cover: The triangle of exposure and artistic use of it. Light metering from your camera and its different settings. White Balance, warm and cool tonality. Quality of light and its uses, composition rules and basic raw file processing and printing.

Requirements: DSLR camera, basic camera skills and

basic Photoshop and Bridge/Lightroom skills. You don’t need to own the software, just have been exposed to it.

Basic Watercolor Techniques with Elizabeth Nixon

8 Tuesdays, February 28 - April 17, 6-8PM

This course will place emphasis on learning how to capture the environment in ink and watercolor. Subject matter will include the neccessary tools, watercolor basics, shading and value, perspective, composition and finding your focus. Ages 16+ and ALL SKILL LEVELS are welcome! 

Basic Drawing Techniques with Debra Yaun

4 Thursdays, March 8 - March 29, 6-8PM

Whether you would like to polish your drawing skills or you are a beginner to drawing, this is the class for you! 

You may work on something of your choice or Debra will help you choose from different drawing projects from supplied photos. It is your choice to work in graphite or colored pencil. This is a beginner's course.

Introduction to Mosaics - Beg. to Intermediate with Mary Hull

March 5 - 8 or April 16 - 19, 2012

In this class students will learn to handle and shape glass to make tesserae for a mosaic panel individually designed. Basic drawing skills are useful but not neccessary. Please have your design on paper before class. Click HERE for supply list.
