The Artist Inside: with Sarah Pattison
This class combines simple art supplies and various methods to encourage students to slow down and tune into what's happening inside. This class emphasizes the process not the end result. For any level of artist or artists in the making.

This class is for any level of artist. No exprience necessary. Non-toxic tempera paint and brushes become the vehicle for an exploration that focuses on the journey not the end product. This class is helpful for anyone wanting to explore and to expand, to play and to express and to find a more natural and intuitive self-expression. Bring your own brushes and supplies. Or purchase suppliesfor a fee of $25 from instructor.

All skill levels, ages 16 and up. This course will introduce students to basic methods and media involved in drawing. The content will emphasize drawing from observation, development of negative/positive space, shape, composition, line, edge development and understanding of value and composition.
