National Jewelry Artist, Barbara McGuire

Jewelry designer, painter, fine artist Barbara McGuire instructs classes and workshops in jewelry design in her studio in Buford, Georgia and we are so pleased to have her teaching at the Quinlan!

A published author, McGuire has written many instrumental books on the creation of fine art jewelry including: Foundations in Polymer Cay Design, Wire in Design, Embracing Child Art, Creative Stamping in Clay, Images in Clay, Images in Clay 2, Expressions in Clay and Silver and Stones.

<*><*><*> She has made over 30 television appearances, including the Christopher Lowell Show in February of 2002 on the Discovery Channel, and the Carol duval show on HGTV. Formerly a Brand Manager for MacPherson's, McGuire now is the owner of her own company, designing craft stamps, templates and craft kits. Currently she is instructing <*>Array of Clay making mokume designs from polymer clay, <*>Picture Jewelry instructing on transferring images to clay and <*>Precious Metal Clay the finished result being fine silver jewelry. <*> <*>
