One of our favorite instructors!

Christopher Sherry, has been teaching painting courses at the Quinlan since 2006. He is a resident of Atlanta and has resided there for over 20 years.  He has been painting all of his life however he has recenetly taken the craft to another level. His inspiration to paint comes from "the passsion to create something that inspires thought...something that says more than the first visual impact."

Other viewpoints Christopher feels that "The figure is a complex and fluid form portrayed as thought it were a landscape. A segment of the figure is presented as a landscape." Also, that "Art is often used to represent life in a realistic manner. Art can interpret life, express an emotion or reaction. It can be similiar to our memory which can be skewed with time."
