Pris has been active in the art world in one form or another over the past 26 years and holds a degree in graphic design with high concentration on architectural renderings and logo design. She has been painting professionally the past 18 years. 

In 2006 she won second place in "The Best and Brightest" Art Show at Scottsdale Artists School, Scottsdale, AZ, in the oil category. She has been written up twice in International Artist Magizine's How Do You Do That annual "how to" series for "Landscapes" and "My Favorite Things." She continues her own studies with noted artists such as Milt Kobayashi, Burt Silverman, Mark Daily, Gregg Kreutz, Ann Templeton, Kim English and Bill Herring.
