Debra Nadelhoffer - The Inside of Landscape Painting
This class is focused on how to use
photographs to create studio paintings. The instructor has photographs
for the students to work from which create typical challenges artists face
using photographs or students can bring their own. Instructor will
emphasize the development of a painting from composition to finish including
initial drawing, lay in, color and color mixing. Underpainting techniques
for both mediums will be discussed as well as materials and surfaces for both
mediums. Demo each day by instructor. Drawing experience in
required.
Debra has been awarded an Artist in Residence for Acadia National Park for the fall of 2012. She will be painting this beautiful park for 2 weeks in September. Recently, she had a painting accepted into the Women Painters of the Southeast (WPSE) 1st exhibition opening on April 28, 2012. |
