62nd Annual Members' Exhibition- Judging Results

We are honored to have had Jim Thomas, Gallery Director of the Sautee Nacoochee Art Association in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia as our judge for this exhibition.

Juror's Statement:

It was my pleasure to judge the 62nd Annual Members' Exhibition this year. With over 280 pieces of quality art, it was a pleasant challenge to critique and finalize the results.

In determining the top pieces of art, many factors were taken into consideration such as, overall composition, color usage, light source, artistic technique, and the matting and framing of the entire composition where applicable. With the sculptural art, shape, texture, composition and again, technical ability were the components evaluated.

My congratulations are extended to the artists who won awards, and kudos go to all the participating artists who were a part of this highly successful exhibit. It is extremely rewarding to enjoy the superb caliber of fine art that exists in Northeast Georgia"
