The Atlanta Collage Society (ACS) was formed in 2006 to foster the appreciation and interest in the medium of collage, advance its stature as a major art medium and assist in publid education to enhance the understanding, appreciation and value of collage in the world of fine art. Supporting Atlanta area collage artists, ACS has recently welcomed assemblage artists as well and now have 38 members. The group is also affiliated witht the National Collage Society. "Back to the Earth" features Atlanta encaustic artist Melody Trivisone
Melody trained in the encaustic medium through workshops and self-study. It was her passion for abstract art and texture in art that led her to encausitcs. Melody lives and works out of her studio in Atlanta.
"Soulful Expressions" Atlanta artist Dawne Raulet Dawne Raulet was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she now resides with her two children. She graduated from the University of Georgia and after twelve years as an institutional stockbroker, is now studying art and enjoying being a Mom. Dawne's work, which typically focuses on figures and landscapes, has been exhibited at the Bascom-Louise Gallery, Lagerquist Galley and Avery Fine Art, Among others.
and introducing Gainesville's own Leigh Anne Gross with "Nature. History. Art" Gainesville native Leigh-Anne Gross graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bahcelors of Fine Art in Sculpture in 2007. This is her fist exhibitiion at the Quinlan.
