Kiwanis Club of Gainesville Sponsors Youth Art Month

March is nationally recognized as Youth Art Month, and at the Quinlan, it will be celebrated in style! All gallery spaces will be devoted to the display of youth art entries from March 12 through 30. This annual youth art competition is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville. All locally enrolled Gainesville and Hall County middle and high school students have been invited to submit their best artwork from grades 6 through 12.

This year, Youth Art Month drop off dates are Monday through Thursday, March 3-6. The show will be judged on Friday, March 14. Winners of this competition will receive scholarship awards from the Charles J Thurmond Youth Art Scholarship fund. There will be a reception for students and parents at the Quinlan on Sunday, March 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. and posted on the website here.
