Kiwanis Club of Gainesville Sponsors Youth Art Month

 March is nationally recognized as Youth Art Month and is celebrated annually Quinlan Visual Arts Center.  For the month of March, the Quinlan devotes all gallery spaces to the display of artwork created by local students grades 6 to 12. Upperclassmen compete for the Charles J. Thurmond Youth Art Scholarship Awards, given by the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville to the top three winners. This year, Youth Art Month drop off dates are Monday through Thursday, March 5 - 8. The show will be judged on Wednesday, March 14th with award announcements and reception on Sunday, March 18 from 2-4 PM. Youth Art Month will be on view from March 15 - 25.
