GUIDELINES:

July 17 - Deadline for images -  submit to [email protected]

Set images at 8x10 inches at 72 dpi, jpg or 5x7 inches at 300dpi
Title, year completed, medium, artist last name, first name, image number

3 submissions per artist allowed

July 25 - Notification on entry acceptance

Include with each accepted artwork the following information (can be placed on the back of the artwork):
Artist Name - Title of artwork, year completed, medium, price. (artwork does not have to be for sale). Short bio of artist with photo of artist and identify  where they teach, go to school or retired.

 
IMPORTANT DATES
August 18 - 5:30 -7:00 pm   Opening Reception open all current exhibits at the Quinlan
October 13 - 5:00 -6:30 pm Closing Reception & Awards ceremony for GAEA exhibition
Awards ceremony at 5:45 PM
October 15 - 10 am to 4 pm or have prepaid shipping enclosed in the packaging – pick up of artwork
 
Submission Requirements:
*Only original current art work will be accepted. All works must have been produced within the past three years.
*Original Works accepted in the following categories: Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Mixed Media, Drawing, Pastel, Photography, Clay, Sculpture, Printmaking, Wood, and Fiber Arts. 
*Artwork limited to a maximum of 50lb. and dimensions no greater than 72” (framed) in any direction.
*All work must be professionally presented and/or framed, (frames must have wire ready for hanging). No saw toothed hangers will be accepted.
*No substitution of artwork after work is accepted.
*Accepted works must remain for the duration of the show.
*Accepted work must be transported or shipped to and from the Quinlan Art Center at the artist’s expense.
*Each artist is responsible for insuring his/her artwork for the duration of the show.
*Quinlan Art Center and GAEA will not be responsible for loss or damage.
*The exhibiting artist will receive 60% of any artwork sold and the Quinlan Visual Arts Center will receive 40% of all sales.
*Review Attachment of the Quinlan Visual Arts Center Exhibition & Consignment Agreement with GAEA for the GAEA Member Exhibit.
