Educator, Board Member Delores Diaz Elected to Board of Education
Delores Diaz currently teaches art history at Gainesville State College will be new to the board. With over 30 years of
teaching experience in public schools and higher education she will bring a new perspective and balance to the board with her role as an educator and will start her four-year term in January.

Amanda Kroll Speaks at Arts Fund Luncheon
On Wednesday, October 14th, the Quinlan Visual Arts Center was honored a second time by the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund .
As a 2009 Grant recipient, in addition to recieiving operational support in the amount of $40,000, the Quinlan was featured in the organizations "Give Well Guide" distributed to potential donors in the Atlanta area and beyond. This luncheon "Come together, Look Ahead" honored the sponsors and donors while giving them the opportunity to get to know a select few of the recipient arts organizations.
