The Quinlan proudly supports the 7th Annual Art in the Square Festival! A popular event that has grown since it began, Art In the Square is a celebration of local artists on the historic downtown square. Be sure to save Saturday, September 18th and plan to join the citizenry of Gainesville for a fun day featuring booths full of paintings, ceramics, jewelry and much more. With over 100 artists planning to exhibit, Art in the Square is FULL!
7th Annual Art in the Square Slated
for Saturday, September 18, in Downtown Gainesville

The 7th Annual Art in the Square festival will be the largest yet with over 100 exhibiting artists and extended hours (10am-7pm) on Saturday, September 18th. the event has grown and includes entertainment and children's activities. Admission is FREE! Look for fine art, craft, paintings, photograpy, pottery, handmade jewelry, RAKU firing demonstrations, wood carving, drum building, painted screen doors, quilts, ceramics, glass, bird houses, stained glass and more.
INK (interactive Neighborhood for Kids) will present a special Youth Artists' Market, and is still taking applications. See the INK website HERE for more information. The Quinlan booth will feature free crafts for the kids. Other groups that will have activities for little ones include Brenau University Art Fraternity Kappa Pi and the Gainesville Ballet. Live music, face painting, balloon art, and delectible food from the restaurants on the square.
For the second year there will be a cake decorating contest inside the Main Street Market and sponsored in part by The Party Shop. Application for entry can be downloaded HERE. For more information, call Deb at 678-776-1346.
Frames You-Nique and Gallerie 110 are hosting the 3rd Annual challenged Child and Friends Silent Auction going on now through Saturday, September 18th.
