Quinlan Board Nominations

The Board Development Committee of the Quinlan is seeking nominations for the 2012 incoming board members and officers.

Any Quinlan member may submit a recommendation for a potential board member or nominate a current board member for an officer position. Recommendations may be submitted anonymously.

Board Members are invited to serve a two (2) year term and are expected to perform the the following tasks::

Be a member in good standing at some level at the QuinlanVisual Arts Center.

Will strive to attend all scheduled Board meetings with no more than three (3) consecutive absences each year.

Will respond to requests for RSVP to Board meetings within 48 hours whenever possible. Will give staff plenty of advance notice when unable to attend Board meetings.

Will support the Quinln by actively participating on at least one board committee, utilizing unique talents.

Will contribute to the financial security/solvency of the Quinlan by making a personal donation, securing donations or making other valuable in-kind contributions.

Will strive to attend the annual Gala fundraiser and any other board sanctioned Quinlan fundraising or awareness event.

Will adhere to the Board's Policy Governance Model and By-laws.

Will be an advocate for the mission of the Quinlan within spheres of influence.
