The Art League Silent Auction on Art In the Sqaure raises $4,000 for charity Challenged Child & Friends! Held at Frames You-Nique in downtown Gainesville during the 5th Annual Art In the Square, The Art League held a silent auction that helped charity Challenged Child & Friends raise $4,000! Thank you to artists who donated their artwork which made this fundraising event such a success!
5th Annual Art In the Square Festival The 5th Annual Art in the Square was on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 in Gainesville’s historic downtown. This one-day event featured a diverse range of artwork, artists and activities. For children, there will be a Children’s Artist Market, crafts, clowns and face painting and many other art-making activities. Over 50 professional and amateur artists displayed original artwork done in a wide variety of media.
