Annual ‘Art in the Square’ returns to Gainesville
5th Annual Art In the Square FestivalThe 5th Annual Art in the Square was on Saturday, October 4th, 2008 in Gainesville’s historic downtown. This one-day event featured a diverse range of artwork, artists and activities. For children, there will be a Children’s Artist Market, crafts, clowns and face painting and many other art-making activities. Over 50 professional and amateur artists displayed original artwork done in a wide variety of media. People's Choice Award Pamela Keene Art in the Square Silent Auction to benefit Challenged Child and Friends

Bidding was open from September 1 - October 4, 2008 at Frames You-Nique (104 Main Street, on the Square.) Bidders do not have to be present to win. Approximately $3800 was collected from the wonderful people who made the bids, and the all the proceeds are going to Challenged Child and Friends.
