Craft project collaboration with INK

A Good Morning with INK

We had a great time recently with INK (Interactive Neighborhood for Kids) as they interviewed with FOX 5 Good Day Atlanta. We did a craft project, our popular Avatar masks! The kids loved them!

Bring Your Students to the Quinlan

Pottery Wheel Demonstration

Chestattee Middle School came and visited our pottery studio for a special wheel demonstration hosted by Quinlan's ceramics and glass instructor Mary Ann Klimek! Mary Ann demonstrated to students the basics of the wheel and they had a chance to make their very own!

Quinlan's 2010 Medallion Award Winners

2010 "Medallion Award" Recipients

Medallion awards were established at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in 1992 in order to honor the exceptional volunteers that contribute significant personal time, expertise and resources to the center, enhancing the organization in a way that only the people that truly care about it can. The bornze 'medallions' are created by Joe Emery from an original mold by the late Bob Owens, proceeds from the medals are in turn donated to the Bob Owens scholarship fund at North Georgia College and State University. 

We were honored to give out four Medallion Awards in 2010 to the following individuals: 

Carlos Dominguez

Vinson and Anne Trippe

Cindy Murff

David and Mary Ann Klimek
