Arts Center Receives $2,000 Grant from Alpha Delta
Kappa
Alpha Delta Kappa ,
headquartered in Kansas City,
MO, is an international honorary
organization of women educators dedicated to educational excellence, altruism
and world understanding. It has nearly 45,000 members in over 1,500 chapters
located in every state plus Puerto Rico and around the world in Australia, Canada,
Jamaica and Mexico. The
Foundation biennially awards over a quarter of a million dollars through its
eight scholarship and grants program.
The Quinlan Visual Arts
Center (QVAC) in Gainesville,
Georgia has
been awarded a $2,000 grant to implement the Center’s “Portfolio Series.”

The Vision of the future is a colorful one Vision 2030, "A common vision for Gainesville-Hall county," held a press conference at the Quinlan on Friday, June 9th. The winning youth art work from the "Imagine the Future" art contest was on view through the event.
