An Award to Honor our most devoted Members
In 1992, an awards program was started by the Board to honor persons who have given an extra measure of service to the Quinlan. The first group of award winners were selected by the Quinlan Board with the plan that future recipients were to be selected by the past recipients. The new recipients are selected by the most immediate past three groups with earlier groups retiring from the selection process unless impressed into service because of a shortage of persons ordinarily eligible to serve. The medals presented are bronze and were designed by Bob Owens and struck by Joe Emery.
Below is a list of the Medallion Award recipients from 1992 to present.

Talk about some Holiday Fun!
Fox Gradin helps a participant put the finishing touches on her bracelet.
On Sunday, December 2nd the Quinlan Visual Arts Center opened its doors for the annual Christmas on Green Street celebration. A Gainesville tradition, families flocked to the sidewalks to see the holiday parade with highlights including classic automobiles, the Grinch and, of course, Santa! Immediately following the parade all children ages 5 and up were welcomed in to the Quinlan classrooms for the Children's Holiday Art Party.
