Earn professional learning units in a workshop that is specifically designed to expose you to interesting and diverse media and techniques to adapt for use in a classroom setting. In this interesting course, participants will focus on the process of book making as art with University of Georgia instructor Brian Hitselberger . A painter and book artist living and working in Athens, Georgia.

Hitselberger is currently completing his MFA at UGA. Brian has an extensive background in workshops that span from drawing and printmaking to murals and book arts. Students will explore the book structure as a means of alternative expression. More than just books, participants will create collaborative projects, reliquary boxes as well as mixed media books.
