"Wachovia Building" Sculpture has new home

 As part of a growing permanent collection, the recent generous donation of a colorful, large-scale modern sculpture can now be seen on the Quinlan grounds.

The Wachovia Building located on Jesse Jewell Parkway was recently purchased by a corporation in Charlotte, North Carolina. In a spirit of continuing to support the arts in the Gainesville community, this company has generously donated the large-scale, multi-colored modern sculpture by an unknown artist that was once featured at the entryway of the building. It is now part of the permanent collection of the Quinlan Visual Arts Center and has been installed on the grounds as part of the growing sculpture collection.
