| Quinlan Class Policies |
Fee Payment, Registration Procedures and Refunds1. The Quinlan offers a senior citizen (65 and older)/student/ teacher discount for all adult classes so long as you membership is current. All refund policies pertain to the discounted rates. 2. The Quinlan reserves the right to alter or cancel classes as necessary. 3. No deferred tuition payment system is available, nor may tuition be prorated or a portion of tuition fee be transferred to another class. 4. The Quinlan is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Please discuss any missed classes with the instructor. Make-up classes will not be given. 5. If a student is under 18 years of age, certain adult level classes will require parental consent. Please contact the staff to obtain a consent form. 6. Gift Certificates are available for purchase and are redeemable for Quinlan courses, Summer Art Camp, gallery sales and merchandise in our gift shop. 7. As in all other classroom environments, CELL PHONE USE IS PROHIBITED! Cellular telephones need to be in "silent" mode (or left at home). 8. Quinlan classes should be a time for fun, however, please be considerate of those around you. Loud conversations and other disruptions during class time will not be permitted. 9. All instructors reserve the right to remove disruptive influences from their class. No refund will be given in the event of a dismissal
10. Returned Checks: All returned checks will result in an additional $25 returned check fee.
Workshop Payment Policy A deposit is required to reserve a space in one of our workshops (see below). We accept all major credit cards, checks made payable to the Quinlan Visual Arts Center or cash. Deposits A non-refundable deposit of one-half of the enrollment fee is required at the time of registration. Deposits are transferable* (see Transfers and Fees). Balance The balance is due one (1) month prior to the workshop start date. Reminder notices will be sent to students at the time payment is due. Transfers and Fees Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be transferred to another workshop if intent to withdraw is made at least forty-five (45) days prior to the class start date. (A $15 transfer fee will apply.) Deposits may be transferred one time only and MUST be redeemed within a year of original deposit date. There is NO refund, nor transfer, for any reason, if you cancel 45 days or less before the workshop. We understand that last minute emergencies, illnesses, or conflicts come up that can't be controlled, and we are truly sorry, but due to committed expenses on the part of the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, we are not able to make exceptions.
Cancelled Classes: Decisions to cancel classes due to insufficient enrollment will be made one (1) business day before the first class. A full refund will be given in the event of cancellation. If a gift certificate was used for the class, a credit will be issued. No cash refunds will are given for gift certificates. Fees may be applied to another course but if unused, will expire in December of that year. |
