About the Band

Go-Machine formed in Austin, Texas, when fate brought together guitarist/vocalist Dave Orr (Brisbane, Australia), drummer Marshall Kummer (Europe/Boston), and bassist Ry Dill (Minneapolis, MN) in late 2021. What began as a spontaneous jam session quickly revealed something undeniable — a powerful musical chemistry that couldn’t be ignored.

Over the next two years, the trio gigged relentlessly across Austin and central Texas, earning a reputation for high-energy performances at iconic venues like the Continental Club, C-Boy’s, and the Saxon Pub. The lineup soon expanded to include saxophonist Matt Maldonado and keyboardist Marcell Coleman, evolving Go-Machine into a tight, five-piece force fueled by deep grooves, bold melodies, and adventurous spirit.

With their debut single “Going Nowhere” released and an EP on the way in spring 2025, Go-Machine is poised to take their sound far beyond their hometown. Rooted in rock, steeped in soul, and powered by the unexpected — this is music that moves.
