Artist Guest of Honor
Patricio Marín
|
Patricio Marín is a Nicaraguan painter from Susucayán, Nueva Segovia. After finishing high school and searching for direction, he followed the encouragement of his mother and the town priest and left Nicaragua to study drawing and painting at the School of Fine Arts in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Immersed in color and pigments, he discovered his true passion. In 2000, he returned to Nicaragua to dedicate himself fully to painting.
He began by using lithographic ink to create landscapes in a style reminiscent of Bob Ross. Over time, his technique evolved, and he now works primarily in oil on canvas and aluminum panel, developing a highly refined, hyper realistic approach. “I replicate reality with my works. My intention is to capture fragments of the world’s natural beauty and preserve them on canvas. It is an honor to be recognized by the Quinlan and its art collectors” |
