Call for Artists
100% of the proceeds of the sale of these works will help us continue to offer art classes to those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The exhibition will be at the 6th Annual “Re-Hatched” Art Market at the Spring Chicken Festival, Downtown Gainesville, Saturday, April 28th, 10 AM -- 4 PM.
Entry Requirements:
1. All art must be created on a penny.
2. As long as it is on a penny, or made with pennies, it is eligible.
3. Yes, we said penny. It’s a “thing” we promise.

1. Artists in all two-dimensional media are welcome (as long as it sticks to the penny.)
2. All submissions must be appropriate for viewing by all ages in a public setting.
3. The QVAC reserves the right not to accept any submitted work for any reason.
4. Please submit pennies to the Quinlan by:
· Round 1: November 16, 2018
(to be sold at Handcrafted for the Holidays
· Round 2: April 2, 2019
(to be sold at the Spring Chicken Festival)
Release: Signing this form indicates that the artist understands that this is an open opportunity to participate in the Penny for your Thoughts Art Show. If selected, artist hereby grants permission for resulting work sold and 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Healing through the Arts program, a partnership with the Guest House. Work may be included in promotional photographs to be used for promotional purposes on television, newspapers, magazines, press releases, websites or any other media deemed appropriate by the QVAC. If selected, artist will release the work without compensation.
