Woodburning One-on-One Class
$40 for 2 Hours - Class Scheduled on Request 



​Students will have the opportunity to use a solid tip wood burner, as well as a wired tipped wood burner. They will have a chance to use two different styles of machines that will be provided by the instructor. They will get instruction on the essential tips for both machines used to demonstrate with, as well as making a small burning project. The instructor provides all supplies and the wood-burning machines for this trial class. From here, the student will be able to decide which burner style they prefer and adapt to a personal style while crafting these projects in each lesson.  ​

​This class is designed to help artists explore the basics of using a wire tipped wood burner. Artists will employ various techniques for using various styles of wire tips for drawing and shading. Participants will receive instructions on starting a burn by sketching out the subject matter, and using appropriate temperatures to achieve the ideal burn. Students will be instructed in the use of a solid tip wood burner, as well as a a wire tipped wood burner. They will have the opportunity to use two different styles of machines, that will be provided by the instructor. Students will also learn how to apply watercolor to their wood burning, as well as how to properly seal their art. Instruction will be based on demonstrations, discussions, and individual critiques.
