Open Studio Schedule
Mondays, starting February 3, 10, 17, 24 Open Studio fee per month Members $20 | Non-members $30 |
The "Creative Kitchen" is inspired by Walt Disney's idea of a free-flowing, unstructured space designed to stimulate creativity and enhance your artistic practice. It’s a place where you have everything you need to explore your creative potential, but it’s up to you to make it your own.
Join us Mondays from 10 AM to 12 PM in our studio for open studio time, where you can work on your personal projects at your own pace. This is your chance to step into the “Creative Kitchen” and experiment freely in a collaborative and non-judgmental environment.
To inspire your process, we’ll bring in Guest Instructors to offer brief, 15–30-minute demos, giving you a sneak peek into upcoming workshops and classes at the Quinlan. These demos are completely optional, allowing you to choose what sparks your interest.
Patricia Fabian will facilitate the Open Studio, ensuring you have the tools and support you need. She’ll be available for one-on-one critiques and suggestions, helping you stretch beyond your comfort zone.
Once a month, we’ll invite a model for figure or portrait painting. Patricia will lead a 30-minute demonstration, offering contemporary perspectives on capturing the model, followed by the opportunity for you to paint independently for the rest of the Open Studio session.
See this as an opportunity to explore new media and techniques, learn from a diverse range of artists, and apply those insights to your own work.
Bring your coffee, engage with other artists, and let the energy of the group help you unlock your full creative potential in this non-structured, inspiring setting.
