I have found the best way to learn a difficult subject is to break it down into its simplest form. For instance, Color Theory can become as simple as one, two, three using a three color palette. Drawing can be simplified by breaking objects into simple masses and working back into them with only the information needed. It makes no difference if you are a beginner or a seasoned painter, this class will provide information that will help you move forward and develop study habits so you can continue to grow long after the workshop.
Through demos and one-on-one instruction, I will explain techniques to explore what’s possible and provide exercises to help you see more than just what’s in front of you. My intent is for you to leave this workshop with a full grasp of basic principles, a better understanding of how to apply these principles consistently and provide you with ideas for creating solid practice routines.
