Tree ring print of Red Bay, "the Adventurer," from Golden Isles, GA. Artist: Christina and Jessie Fabian from the exhibition "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far...."

The Red Bay makes its home in the marsh areas of the costal south. Its wood was used to build ships. Bay trees symbolize courage and strength and have been used throughout history to honor those who triumph in the face of uncertainty

Each tree ring print is an original piece of art taken right from the tree, not a machine.
