About the Quinlan School of Art
Founded in 2021 in honor of the institution's 75th anniversary, the Quinlan School of Art offers students in grades K-12 the unique opportunity to explore their creative potential in a structured, nurturing environment. Guided by accredited educators, our program provides formal instruction that fosters artistic expression, cultural understanding, and critical thinking skills.

Expressive Arts Therapy for Self-Exploration & Enhancing Teen Self-Confidence instructed by Dawn Columbo

​Elementary Art I | Art Adventures | Ages 6-8

This early education class nurtures children’s sense of wonder while engaging them with various mediums and beginner techniques. Students are encouraged to use their natural sense of wonder to explore, play and create, while learning about the basic elements of art and some fun famous artists too!

3 Separate Courses 

  1. ​​Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00 -10:00 AM 
  2. Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:00 PM 
  3. Thursdays 4:00 - 5:00 PM

​Elementary Art II | Art Explorations | Ages 9-11

​This exciting class will meet twice a week and explore painting, sculpture, collage and/or drawing in a confidence building, hands on, setting. These students will be introduced to different art styles, and various mediums, while making their own masterpieces! We will also learn about some of the great artists of history and their most famous pieces. Build confidence, have fun and learn art!

Middle School Art | Drawn Together | Ages 12-14

This engaging, hands-on class is designed to strengthen students’ understanding of the principles of art and the fundamentals of art history. With a focus on technical skill-building and creative exploration, students will grow in both confidence and artistic ability. Encouraged to experiment with a variety of mediums, they will deepen their appreciation for art while developing their own unique visual voice.

Preschool Art | Mommy & Me Class | Ages 2-4

Join us for a joyful and creative “Mommy & Me” art class designed for our youngest artists! Each session invites your child to explore a variety of art materials, discover new textures, and develop fine motor skills through fun, hands-on activities. Every lesson introduces an element of art and basic techniques in an engaging, age-appropriate way.

​This class is a wonderful opportunity to bond, create, and play together in a nurturing group setting. A parent or guardian is kindly asked to attend alongside their child.
