The Kiwanis Club of Gainesville is pleased to announce the 11th Annual Charles J. Thurmond Youth Art Scholarship Awards.
The scholarships and the event have been named to honor an outstanding Gainesvillian and Kiwanian, Charles J. Thurmond. In his honor, and in memory of their true friendship, another Gainesvillian, who wishes to remain anonymous, has made a significant contribution to our Club in an effort to recognize the artistic accomplishments of our youth.
Please read carefully through this announcement for other changes in the 2014 contest. All of this information will be available on the Kiwanis Club of Gainesville web site: www.gainesvillekiwanis.org and on the Quinlan Visual Arts Center website www.quinlanartscenter.org.
