Join us for an engaging, hands-on workshop where participants will learn the traditional art of pysanky—a centuries-old Ukrainian technique of decorating Easter eggs using wax and dye. Guided step-by-step by instructor Shari Frazier, you will create your own intricately designed eggs while exploring the folklore and symbolism behind this cherished cultural tradition. Each color, line, and pattern used in pysanky carries meaning, representing themes such as protection, renewal, prosperity, and hope.
During this workshop, you will:

• Learn the history and folklore of Ukrainian Easter egg decorating
• Discover the symbolism behind traditional pysanky patterns
• Practice the wax-resist method used to create layered designs
