We are currently preparing for our 37th Annual GALA Fine Art Auction,Saturday, March 7, 2015. GALA is the Quinlan’s signature fundraiser and sells out every year to discerning art collectors of Georgia. Its success significantly impacts the Center’s ability to offer premier arts programming to our community.
We are excited about this year to be honoring Georgia Artist Steve Penley as our 2015 Artist Guest of Honor. Again this year, a full color catalog of live auction items for GALA 2015 will be mailed to ticket holders prior to the event, and all art entries will be juried with awards given by acclaimed Atlanta art appraiser Robert Morring.
We are still accepting entries for framed, ready to hang artwork. Early submissions may be used in advertisements for the event.
Artists are our most significant supporters, and we especially value your participation.Directing 100% of revenues from the sale of your artwork to the 2015 Quinlan GALA will truly make a huge impact on the event’s bottom line. Artists who make a 100% donation and receive an auction sale of greater than $100 will receive a complimentary one-year Quinlan membership to keep or give to a friend, and you will receiveadmission to Collector’s Night on Thursday, March 5th. As well, works may be consigned and you can choose to receive between 10% and 40% of the sale.
