Deposit and Payment PoliciesQuinlan Visual Arts Center - Class and Workshop Payment Policy
Workshop Policies and Procedures A workshop is a unique opportunity to study with a modern master, a professional artist that is sharing their expertise with devoted students. All skill levels are welcome to attend, unless indicated in the workshop description. It is assumed that students enrolled in a course at this level will have a basic understanding of the rudiments of the medium. There are between 8 and 20 students enrolled in each workshop. There is plenty of room and ample opportunity for individual instruction if you are adequately prepared. Workshop Payments Registrations made 31 days or more before the first day of the workshop require a non-refundable 50% payment. This payment may be transferable under certain circumstances (see Cancellations and Transfers). Workshop Balance If a payment has been paid, the remaining non-refundable, non-transferable balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the workshop. It is the student’s responsibility to make the final payment. Registrations made less than 31 days before the first day of the workshop require immediate non-refundable, non-transferable full payment. Class Payments: Full payment is required at the time of registration. Class tuition is non-refundable. Cancellations and Transfers: Class Payments and Workshop Deposits may be transferable to another workshop/class if intent to withdraw is made 31 days or more before the first day of the workshop/class. (A $15 transfer fee will apply.) Class Payments or Workshop Deposits may be transferred one time only per payment or deposit and must be redeemed by December of that calendar year of the initial registration. Cancellations by the Instructor or the Quinlan: Enrollment numbers determine whether or not a workshop/class will proceed. In the regrettable instance that a workshop or class must be canceled, payments and/or balances will be fully refunded, except if the initial payment was transferred as part of a student’s withdrawal from a previous workshop or class. In this event, the balances and/or payments will not be refunded, but the student may transfer to another workshop/class scheduled to be held on or before December of that calendar year. You will not be charged a second transfer fee. Absences: The Quinlan is not responsible for classes missed due to student absences. Class disruptions: All instructors reserve the right to remove disruptive influences from their class. No refund will be given in the event of a dismissal. Other suggestions to insure that your workshop experience is a positive one Please provide the following, as necessary: Lights and extension cords, and easels.
