Quinlan Visual Arts Center's 16th Annual Youth Art Month
Featuring: Charles J. Thurmond Youth Art Scholarship Awards (Kiwanis Club of Gainesville) and awards from the American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA), Vision 2030 Public Art Committee (Free Range Art Project), and Georgia Art League (Middle School Awards.)
This is the Quinlan’s 16th Annual Youth Art Month Celebration. It is by far, one of the exhibitions that we (the staff and our board) have been the most proud of and are privileged to take part of it with you.
This special award, unique to our 2019 celebration, has been graciously provided by
Jack and Janice Frost, and Memorial Park Funeral Home.
· Quinlan Youth Art Month Participating Seniors are eligible
· Award will be paid to the school you are attending
· Selected by a Quinlan panel, including staff and resident artist/instructors.
· Criteria: a young artist prolific in a variety of media, with a distinct presence and point of view, an impressive body of work or other exemplary talent displayed.
· Award amount is $4,000
Catie also won Best in Show First Place overall in the Kiwanis Club Charles J. Thumond Scholarship Awards ($2500), 1st Place in the 12th grade category, and 1st place award in the American Society of Marine Artist Search.
